Such a wonderfully humbling surprise to go to the Astra Awards to present an award and discover that the sneaky, cheeky lovely people at Petco Love are giving it to you! 😭 Thank you so much to the Astra Awards and to Susanne Kogut and all of the incredible, tireless, huge-hearted people at Petco Love who do so much work all over the country to find animals their forever homes, to provide shelters, organizations, and communities with resources and education, and who let this crazy lady bring them ideas like the Puppy Roll and let me use my nerdy dreams to gather together some of my favorite people to help bring awareness to their cause. And of course, thanks to my love Rick Barrio Dill for building SLAP Studios LA so we could have an artistic home to create whatever madness we come up with.) Thanks to Petco Love I maintain puppies should be required on every red carpet because then EVERYONE wins.
