So thrilled to finally get to share this picture taken on the set of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders last year, just after getting a birthday serenade and cake from the amazing crew and the incomparable Gary Sinise, and just before our final shot of the day ((after talking Chicago theatre and bass playing all day). Working on this episode was a dream, and tonight, on CBS at 10 pm/9 c, you can see the fruit of our labors. Beautifully written by Erica Meredith, this episode is extra special to me, dealing with an ongoing health and safety crisis in India (that was featured on last season of VICE on HBO as well), and so glad that in addition to being good TV, this show is broadening people’s knowledge of global issues.
